We are seeking a skilled Head of M&A to join our Group Finance team in Stockholm, Sweden. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and driving our M&A activities forward.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Updating our M&A framework, strategy, and process, and identifying potential acquisition targets in alignment with key stakeholders.
- Leading project management of all phases of the M&A processes, including coordinating post-merger integration efforts to ensure seamless transitions.
- Leading the due diligence process and guiding negotiations to successful deal closures.
- Collaborating with legal and fiscal advisors to navigate complex transactions.
- Collaborating with the Group CFO in developing comprehensive business cases and reporting, supporting our M&A strategy.
- Managing communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the acquisition journey.
We would like you to:
- Have strong experience within corporate finance, business development or corporate development internationally.
- Have extensive knowledge of M&A and be skilled in valuation, negotiation, funding, and investment structuring.
- Have a proven track record of influencing leadership teams.
- Be proficient in building relations, managing stakeholders, and negotiating.
- Have a strategic mindset, a pragmatic approach, strong communication and presentation skills.
- Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work with different cultures in different time zones.
- Have excellent command of English in speech and writing.
- Have a master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, law or similar.
- Have minimum 5 years of experience with M&A
